Overview of The Rufus W. Pearson Scholarship
Church members who are seeking training beyond the high school level and who have a need for financial assistance may apply for funds to be awarded from the Rufus W. Pearson Scholarship Fund. Applicants shall have met entrance requirements and shall have been accepted by an accredited post secondary institution. Applicants should also exhibit high moral character and a dedication to family, church and community. Funds are awarded for the fall and spring semesters. Deadlines for applying are June 1 for the fall semester and October 1 for the spring semester.
